If there is one thing that I am supposed to do in this life, it is this: help others tell their stories. Whether it is a nonprofit trying to re-connect with donors, the coffee shop opening up just down the street, or a well-established company attempting to grow with new audiences, my desire is to engage individuals with their brand, their products and their stories in exciting and compelling ways.

After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia, I worked with the Mizzou BSU campus ministry, building their brand, awareness and fundraising efforts. While working in the field of ministry, an opportunity arose for me to also work with a media ministry in Tanzania, East Africa. Here I have lived & worked in the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro, creating publications, publicity materials, product packaging, and eventually brought a team of Maasai choir members back to North America, traveling on a concert tour.

Upon settling back in Columbia, I joined the Missouri Association of REALTORS as part of its developing marketing department, giving shape and building a brand for the out-dated organization.

I currently work as a Marketing Creative Strategist at Columbia College. Creating marketing pieces for everything from print to digital, billboards to videos, maintaining a consistent, yet localized, advertising campaign across 35 different U.S. markets proves to be a fun challenge.

I thoroughly enjoy typography, especially when it’s done really well. I may also have a not-so-secret obsession with ampersands. I love to travel. In addition to Tanzania, I have been to England, France & studied abroad in Italy.
